When Twitter decided to revamp its homepage, the design was no fluke: Twitter Creative Director Doug Bowman made that perfectly clear with this Flickr upload.

As you can see, Bowman and his team drew on Golden Ratio in the new Twitter, a concept as old as the ancient Greeks and popularized by the Fibonacci sequence. You can see it everywhere from the Parthenon to Mondrian paintings to sea shell spirals. And now, you can see it in your tweets. [Flickr via Laughing Squid]
