And another good tip from Christopher Coulter today, this one that Acer is coming out with both a new Tablet PC and a new widescreen laptop. The Apsire 2000 will have Centrino, a 15.4-inch widescreen display, and an “instant-on” mode so that it’s possible to watch DVDs or listen to CDs without having to boot up Windows XP. The TravelMate C300 Tablet PC (pictured at right) will be one of the first Tablet PCs to come with a 14.1-inch display, and will have either an internal CD or DVD drive, something neither of Acer’s previous TravelMate models included.
