The story may be funny, but this is no joke. Microsoft Taiwan, catapulting off the recent success of the Windows 7 burger, has opened a Windows 7-themed restaurant called Hot Fried 77.

For the next two months, Microsoft is taking over 100 Seafood—a Taiwanese seafood restaurant—with a special, Windows 7 centric menu. Each dish runs $77 Taiwan, or about $3 in American cash, and goes wonderfully with a Windows 7 beer (brewer unknown).
I’m not sure what stir fry has to do with Microsoft’s OS, but if you can’t appreciate an underpaid, underfed model awkwardly presenting you with well-priced cuisine, well, I’m not sure that I recognize the soulless excuse for a person that you’ve become. [TechBang via micgadget]
