Wireless underwear that calls an ambulance if you have a heart attack

Researchers at Philips in Aachen, Germany have created a line of underwear, including bras and briefs, that have built-in sensors that monitor a person’s heart rate and can automatically call an ambulance if you’re having a heart attack (we wonder if it triggers false alarms as well). You gotta love the big grin on the face of the scientist in the blue shirt in the photo at right. He must be really psyched to be working on this project.
