The Wolverine pulls back on some of the violence and gore because of its coveted PG-13 rating. But apparently, the Viper, the sexy snake lady who uses her poisonous talents on Logan, could have been a lot raunchier as well. Possibly NSFW concept art below…
This concept art from The Wolverine comes via artist Joshua Min, who posted a few early images of the Viper, including one showing how the “shedding her skin” idea could have been a lot more naked and more… gooey. Sort of like Mystique from the other X-Men films, except covered with slimy goop. You can see why they decided to back off that idea a bit. Check out his art below, and more at the link.
