Star Trek: The Next Generation was one of those shows that only got better over the years—well, until now. Predictive keyboards have stepped in to continue the saga of the USS Enterprise, with unpredictable results. And of course, Q is along for the ride, because only a god could orchestrate such madness.

Predictive keyboards suggest words for super-fast typing and can be found on most smartphones and added to computers. Botnik Studios, which previously created the J.K. Rowling-like masterpiece Harry Potter and the Portrait of What Looked Like a Large Pile of Ash, has created an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation created with predictive keyboards that were taught syntax based on all seven seasons of the series.

Episode 279, “Here’s Looking at Q,” centers around Q occasionally stopping by the Enterprise to get into shenanigans. Meanwhile, Troi is torturing Geordi with nightmares and terrible food, Riker is looking for someone to party with, and Worf insists that everyone is disgracing his father... which they probably are.

You can check out the entire episode here, which includes Riker asking that Dr. Crusher get him some mad sweet drugs... because, as previously mentioned, the dude loves to party. I’m definitely hoping there are more episodes on the way. I mean, with an epic cliffhanger like this, I can’t wait to find out what happens next.
