One day, while on his computer, Luke is contacted by a mysterious figure who calls himself “Keith” and offers to help him. On a whim, Luke agrees, not realizing that he’s surrendering control of his digital life to someone who knows everything about him.
Luke Kondor wrote, directed, and narrated the short film Keith. We’re seeing more and more stories told in this screen-based format, each examining a different topic in modern online life. The horror film Unfriended, for example, tackles cyberbullying, while the Modern Family episode “Lost Connection” plays with online communication and social media. Keith, on the other hand, is a horror movie about how our data and online activities represent us to the wider world, and what happens when we lose control of both.
