Who would have thought that Roger Corman’s unreleased Fantastic Four would leave a greater impression on the pop culture landscape than the three big-budget, major studio releases? It’s arguably more successful, too.
Doomed! The Untold Story of Roger Corman’s Fantastic Four is exactly what it says on the tin—a documentary about the never-released movie. A movie that has now become almost legendary is how bad it was. In order to keep the rights to the Fantastic Four, producer Bernd Eichinger and his Neue Constantin film company had to make a film. Any film. And any film is pretty much what ended up being made.

Doomed!, which debuted its trailer in 2014, is going to come to VOD on October 11 and DVD on December 20.
