CYBEX Trazer: Virtual Reality Games, Costs As Much As a Pony

The Trazer is a "virtual reality" exercise machine by Cybex. The user wears an infrared belt, or "beacon", which tracks movement and mimics it on-screen in one of Trazer's 20 proprietary games. Yes, we said "proprietary". Instead of opening the technology to support real games, you are stuck with some Lawnmower Man-looking 3D titles. In the end, you are paying for what looks to be a basic PC with a basic infrared peripheral. The idea is sound, but we'd rather spend the $6,495 on a pony.
