80 zune is amazing but if they want it to become bad ass then get some more colors!!!

Sweet. Can I customize it to not restart itself mid-song in cold weather? How about customizing it so that the zune software doesn't suck and try to sync every time I plug the zune in even though I changed the preferences to require me to choose what media to sync?

Can the red zune do that? Huh? Can it? Well...?

@LJN: Sounds to me like you need to do a re-install of the Zune software, re-install the firmware on the Zune, and perhaps tweak your registry for the Zune software. Feel free to message me, I'll help ya through it.

Ive left mine in my car over night in the winter and it played fine the next morning. Yours obviously has issues and im sure you are a minority of owners who have that problem.

It will only sync the media you set it to sync. It still starts the software when you plug it in (which you can turn off by going into Settings-->Sync Options-->Uncheck), and if your Zune already has all the media you said it should have, it wont sync anything else, but merely connect to the software because it would only make sense that it does. What exactly is your complaint?

Also, since this is a zune story and some 4th grader posted the obligitory "what is a zune" comment, I need to cancel it out by saying that I love my Zune80.

Yes, the zune software still sucks out loud, but I found a hack that allows me to use MediaMonkey to synch...so now my awesome zune hardware gets it on with MediaMonkey. Hot Monkey on Zune action...what could be better? Ahhh....life is good.
