The Touch Diamond, HTC's 2008 flagship phone, just hit the FCC. This means that it's well on its way to one of the four carriers, most likely either AT&T or Sprint first, judging from the way the original HTC Touch played out. As Addy said in the hands-on, it's the most iPhoney of Windows Mobile phones yet, and feels much like a tiny iPhone for people who have small hands. [FCC]

I pity people with small hands.
I want the Raphael!
How long 'til the fanboys come along to piss all over this article?
fan boys are holding their breath for the masaia to talk about the 3g iPhone!!
@ratheen: That or someone ate too many beans for lunch.
Take away the FCC sticker and you have Tony Stark's workshop floor plan!
@Kaiser-Machead, or you have some futuristic pool table!
@Kaiser-Machead: Ha! You're right!
Jason... "feels much like a tiny iPhone for people who have small hands".
Just to be a bit more non-partisan in your discriminatory allusion, you might have mentioned that it has a VGA screen for people with beady little eyes.
How is the touch diamond anything like the iPhone?
The interface, OS, form-factor, and feature set are all completely different. Just because it has a touch screen and accelerometer it's an iPhone clone now?
Hey, my Toshiba m200 has a stylus-touch screen and an accelerometer in it, does that mean it's a super-sized iPhone clone that came out a few years before the iPhone?
@halfkorean: I would've said pinball machine :P
I wonder if it'll be another $600 phone I can't afford....
@draiko: My Katana II is just like an iPhone except it flips and the screen isn't a touchscreen and it's smaller and it doesn't do most of the things an iPhone does.
But otherwise it is exactly the same. A total iPhone clone.
Funniest. Headline. Ever.
*golf clap*
This will be UMTS/W-CDMA
It's coming to ATT first.
Yeah, the test report specifies GSM and EDGE, so this baby is definitely not Sprint or Verizon bound.
That schematic looks like a living room floor plan.
