SNL’s Seth Meyers Skewers Barely Born Kindle Fire On Its Clueless Parent Appeal

The Kindle Fire isn’t out yet and it’s future is by no means certain, but nevertheless SNL’s head writer Seth Meyers managed to make a funny last night during Weekend Update:

“It’s expected to sell well among parents who always buy the wrong thing,” Meyers said of the $199 Android-powered tablet.

If nothing else, a light chuckle on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Joke begins at about the 45-second mark and, as we’ve seen in our hands-on, isn’t entirely based in fact. [NBC via All Things D]
