Europe’s collaborative nEUROn drone may be late to the invisible death from above party, but it sure is compensating with some scary looks. Check out the Cylon mug on this puppy as it greets the world for the first time.

David Cenciotti notes the nEUROn (clever name!) takes a lot of design cues from American peers, particularly the X-47B. It still needs some lengthy testing rounds, but the nEUROn will eventually give France, Italy, Sweden, Spain, Switzerland and Greece the ability to “drop PGM (Precision Guided Munitions) through the internal weapon bay, as well as the integration in a C4i environment (command, communication control, computer and intelligence).” Smart and kill-y. If only that red eyeball weren’t just padding—it’s making me squirm in my seat. [Aviationist]
