You don't normally take a suitcase on camping trips, but I think an exception could be made for this Field kitchen. Folded out, it comprises of a camping stove, workbench, small pantry, ice box and place to store cooking utensils.


Such luxury doesn't come cheap naturally, with the base level costing $595, and going all the way up to $1,399. It would almost defeat the purpose of camping, if it didn't have me dreaming of camping trips minus the last-minute hurry-up of packing sand-speckled containers together. Fully loaded means that it comes with some shelves and a cookware kit. This seams like an incredibly bad idea.

Don't get me wrong, my Wife and I eat like kings on our camping trips because of propane stove tops. But this doesn't even integrate a cooler or fridge (or even solar power) and they charge 2-3 times the price of the individual components.

I think I will head over to instructables and put my own version together for under $100.
