And that’s not all! Pee-Wee’s Big Holiday, as it’s been titled, will be produced by Judd Apatow, directed by Broad City’s John Lee, written by Paul Reubens and Comedy Bang Bang’s Paul Rust, and begin produced in just a few months. So not only is a new Pee-Wee movie finally happening, it’s already on its way!
The only plot details Netflix was willing to spare in the press release is this: “A fateful meeting with a mysterious stranger inspires Pee-wee Herman to take his first-ever holiday in this epic story of friendship and destiny.” Works for me. Let’s celebrate with s song, shall we?
