A Rare Promo Code For Stylish People Is Your Dealzmodo-Exclusive Deal of the Day

Although the deals universe is waking up from its pre-Christmas torpor and shifting into a Boxing-week frenzy, it’s a different kind of sale we’re seeing. Instead of promo codes that take a percentage off everything in the store, we’re seeing sale sections balloon. That means instead of deals on stuff you actually want, a lot of sales this week are deals on stuff that nobody wanted—and that’s why those products are on clearance.

So we decided to go out and get a storewide coupon on stuff that’s actually cool. With our friends at Cool Material, we created the coupon code GIZMODO20 that takes 20% off everything in the Cool Material store. Not everything on sale. Not everything except the product you actually want. Everything. This is a pretty rare (and exclusive!) promo code.

You won’t spend a more enjoyable 30 minutes today than window browsing the splendid Cool Material store and figuring out what you’re going to use the code on. If you don’t have the time to browse all afternoon, here are five favorites:

Marshall Major Headphones ($79.20) | Originally $119

Three Pack of Field Notes Pocket Notebooks ($7.96) | Originally $9.95 (Note: these guys NEVER go on sale)

A gorgeous and classic Braun watch | ($120) | Originally $150 | Also check out this lovely Dieter Rams-designed digital Braun

Bolt Action Tactical Pen ($47.96) | Originally $60 | Gizmodo’s take

Hand Engraved Zippo Lighter ($28.80) | Originally $36

The code is GIZMODO20 and it works on everything in-stock in this store until 2013. [Cool Material]
