The Adjustment Bureau, or Philip K. Dick for Dummies is getting a second chance to dazzle you with their teleporting hat-wearing boys' club. Syfy is developing an Adjustment Bureau TV show. And with the best part of the film being the big-name stars Matt Damon and Emily Blunt, let's just say we don't have high hopes for the well-hatted angels of fate.
Loosely based off the Philip K. Dick short story, The Adjustment Bureau wasn't all that bad, except that it sort of fell apart halfway through and never quite recovered. Writer/director George Nolfi did have some inspired moments, and he's returning to oversee this project. Nolfi is teaming up with Michael Hackett and Smallvilleproducers Darren Swimmer and Todd Slavkin. There's no word yet on what or who the plot will center around. We're betting the series will revolve around a rookie angel who's learning the ropes, and his veteran angel partner. The Smallville producers will be penning the series.
