Scouring your house for a D battery, for the uh, toys, can be such a pain in the ass, but it always seems like there is an abundance of AA batteries around. This little, $5 gadget can solve that problem and ensure you never have to go through the embarrassment of actually buying D batteries. Be noted that these smaller, weaker AA won’t give quite as much juice as the D, but it would be sufficient for a quickie.
