You’re excited the FAA isn’t going to make you power down electronics during your flight anymore? So is Amazon. And to commemorate the momentous occasion, it’s knocking 15 percent off the price of several Kindles all day today.

That brings the price of a basic Kindle down to $60, the Kindle Fire HD to $118, and the Kindle Fire HDX to $195. You must enter the code ThnksFAA at checkout to get the discount. Not a bad deal, especially since we’re starting to think about holiday shopping. It’s worth noting that the FAA’s ruling won’t immediately take effect—airlines will have to get approved by the agency before you can listen to Spotify all flight long. But meanwhile, there’s still reason to celebrate. [Amazon]
