On November 30, 1959, Ernest Fisk of the American embassy in Kathmandu delineated the Nepalese government’s regulations on any mountaineer’s interactions with the yeti. Explains Archives.org of this peculiar document:

From the Records of the Agency for International Development, this copy of a Foreign Service Despatch from the American Embassy in Kathmandu, Nepal, summarizes the Nepalese Government’s regulations concerning any proposed mountain climbing expeditions in search of “YETI.”

It’s unclear if these regulations are still on the books. If anyone in the comments is a master of cryptid jurisprudence, please let us know.
