Surprise! But not really, given the ecstatic response to Bryan Fuller’s Neil Gaiman adaptation already, but excellent news nonetheless. Praise Media, because American Gods is getting a second season.
Not much else was confirmed about the return of the show, which has received a rapturous response from critics, but it’s good news that more of this dark, weird world is heading to our TV screens. It’ll be interesting to see where the show goes next, as it starts to go beyond Gaiman’s original novel. We’ll bring you more on American Gods’ second season as we learn it.
