It's a hard pill for the alarm clock industry to swallow, but the fact of the matter is that we don't really need them anymore. So kudos to the folks at Idea International for finding the perfect feature that keeps this bedside alarm clock relevant: a pair of USB ports to charge our phones and tablets.
Now why would you still need an alarm clock on your bedside table at all? Well, unless you keep your phone's display unlocked all the time, it's hard to quickly glance over at the time in the middle of the night. And that's where a traditional alarm clock shines—literally.
The other killer feature here, of course, is this alarm clock's pair of handy USB ports which means you don't need to reach for a power bar on the floor when it's time to juice up your toys.
