Your feet in a front of a sunset. Your feet sprawled on a grassy knoll. Your feet surrounded by cats. Whatever the situation, Instagram's about giving your friends and admirers a chance to peer through sepia-colored glasses at the fun and exciting life of your feet. But photographer Joe McNally may have just taken the Instagram foot shot to end all foot shots.

Standing atop the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest man-made structure, located in Dubai, McNally casually tweeted this incredible image from about 820 meters up. Since it's practically dizzying to look at even on the ground, it's hard to imagine what that straight-shot-downward glance felt like first-hand. Luckily for him (and any passers-by), he seems to have a strong stomach—and phone grip. [Instagram via @SamSpratt]

incidentally beyond a certain height the surrealism of it kinda detracts from the fear of falling. Between a 20 story building and a 60 story one, you're just as likely to die if you fall, except if you go high enough the ground just doesn't seem as real to you, like looking out of an airplane window... a view like that probably wouldn't bother me as much as standing on the ledge of my own office building.
