The Soundcore by Anker Space One Over-the-Ear Headphones can block ambient noise on a flight, in a coffee shop, or during a daily commute. Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation reduces traffic, conversation, and other constant ambient sound, and Transparency Mode lets surrounding noise through when you need to stay aware. The 40mm dynamic drivers deliver detail across vocals, mids, and bass, and the Soundcore app adds customizable EQ and hi-res LDAC support. Bluetooth 5.3 supports multipoint pairing for two devices, and battery life lasts up to 40 hours with ANC on or 55 hours without it.

The Soundcore by Anker Space One Over-the-Ear Headphones are currently $80 on Amazon, marked down $20 from $100 for a 20% discount.

Quality over-ear headphones that look and feel fantastic

The Space One headphones deliver clear vocals, balanced mids, and tight bass across most music genres. The 40mm dynamic drivers produce loud, full sound at moderate listening levels, and LDAC hi-res support adds detail over compatible Bluetooth codecs. Customizable EQ through the Soundcore app fine-tunes bass, mids, and treble for podcasts, music, or audiobooks. Bass response holds up at low volumes for late-night listening and remains distortion-free at higher volumes. Volume is loud enough for personal listening, even in high-ambient-noise environments.

The Space One’s noise cancellation suppresses constant background noise, such as in airplane cabins, office HVAC systems, and on buses. Transparency Mode pulls in surrounding sound through the earcup microphones, so you can hear announcements, conversations, or your environment without removing the headphones. Adaptive ANC automatically adjusts cancellation strength based on detected noise levels, while the Soundcore app provides manual control over ANC and transparency settings. Voice prompts announce ANC mode changes, battery status, and connection state through the headphone speakers.

The memory foam earcups are covered with a soft synthetic material that forms a seal to passively isolate and enhance the performance of the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Instead of focusing all its weight on one spot like many headphones do, the padding is distributed along the entire length of the headband so there are no hot spots. When folded down, the ear cups fit into the included travel case. Additionally, you can adjust the sliders to fit your head size. With an approximate weight of about 9 oz., these are lightweight enough to wear for many hours without placing too much strain on your head.

The Space One makes a few trade-offs typical of headphones in this price range. ANC works against constant background noise but doesn’t reach the depth of flagship headphones, and the build is mostly plastic. However, you still get adaptive noise cancellation, multipoint Bluetooth pairing, and up to 40 hours of battery life with ANC active. Unfortunately, microphone quality holds up in quiet environments but degrades in windy or noisy outdoor settings.

The Soundcore by Anker Space One Over-the-Ear Headphones deliver adaptive noise cancellation, hi-res LDAC support, and up to 40 hours of battery life in a budget-friendly package, and at $80, they’re a great deal for entry-level over-ear headphones. If you’ve been considering wireless headphones with active noise cancellation but didn’t want to pay flagship prices, the $20 off makes the Space One more accessible.
