In a move that should shock no one, Apple filed a countersuit against Creative, maker of several "me, too" digital media players, alleging that Creative infringed on its patents relating to the iPod's interface. This is in response to Creative's earlier suit, which also claimed infringement of its digital media players. As it stands, Apple has about 77 percent of the digital music market in the United States, compared to Creative's less than 10 percent.

Well, we really shouldn't be surprised with Apple's countersuit, considering that the iPod makes, you know, a lot of money for the company that Jobs built. Besides, if the iPod gets taken off the market, which is what Creative wants, how are are we supposed to ignore humanity whilst we walk on the sidewalks?
