Without rhyme or reason Apple has mysteriously pulled all references to competitor’s smartphone antennas from its web site.
Now, instead of seeing Apple throw rival smartphones under the smartphone antenna failings bus, visitors are redirected to the antenna test lab and design pages.
TechCrunch was able to dig up a few of the rival phone pages on the Canadian Apple site, but everywhere else they’ve gone missing without explanation. There will, most likely, not be one.
Even Apple’s YouTube page has been scrubbed, although not nearly as effectively as the web site, as TechCrunch was able to find the original videos after a little digging. Odd. Perhaps Jonathan Mann will write a song about it? [TechCrunch]
