The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, better known as ISIS (or rather ISIL) is currently in the process of tearing Iraq apart from the inside. This is not the sort of brand recognition that Verizon’s fledgling e-wallet service, Isis, is looking for. But why not just think of Sterling Archer’s employer instead?

Instead of a fundamentalist Islamic militia with some $425 million and a small air force of its own, Archer’s ISIS is an underfunded, lunatic-loaded, how-do-they-even-survive-day-to-day spy agency with more than its fair share of perverts, psychos, alcoholics, and lunatics. You know, like a James Bond movie but with the satire knob turned up to 11.
