A little over a week ago, a videographer visited the site of Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajökull to capture what the constant eruption looked like in early May. This gorgeous video is the result.

Taken by Sean Stiegemeier with a Canon 5d mkII and a motorized dolly, this is what it looks like when the Earth won’t stop gushing smoke, steam, and fire. You can see more of Stiegemeier’s work on his Vimeo page. (Thanks, Morgan Smith!)
