The trailer for this catacombs-exploring low-budget horror movie As Above, So Below looks really good. Let’s hope they can deliver on these scares…
As Above, So Below was directed by John Erick Dowdle, who also directed the very good Quarantine remake and the OK horror movie Devil. The story follows a team of archaeologists looking for something inside the catacombs below Paris. From what we can tell in the trailer, it looks like they may have made a wrong turn and ended up in Hell. Which is great.
Seriously, I love hellscape horror movies because the plot is limitless. Fingers crossed for this one, it might actually be scary!
As Above, So Below hits theaters on August 15th.
