We told you about the partnership announcement between Intel and Lamborghini, and now that’s come to fruition with the Asus-Lamborghini VX1 notebook. The VX1 has a 2GHz Intel Core Duo T2500 chip and Intel’s Centrino technology with a WiFi adapter built in. Alongside that there’s a gig of RAM and 120GB hard drive, as well as a DVD burner. Driving the 15-inch, 1400×1050 display is an NVidia GeForce Go 7400 graphics card with 256MB of memory.

The VX1, offered in mirror-painted black or yellow trim, is sure as hell gorgeous-looking, but we’re wondering why a product wearing a Lamborghini badge doesn’t have the fastest Core Duo processor onboard and a higher-resolution LCD. You’ll pay dearly for all that style, too—the VX1 will be available later this month for $3405.
