Metrocomm’s Prototype is Not a Fax Machine
So look at the feature list for this prototype device from Macrocomm: Touch screen, VoIP, HDTV, dual-booting Linux and Windows, 5.1 sound, and… a corded phone handset. They’re building the device to go into hotels and hospitals and dorms—anyplace people need a do-all machine in a small space. Personally, I’d say that’s what big laptops…
