PPCSG.com visit to the headquarters of Taiwanese manufacturer MiTAC, a rising star of sorts in the world of Pocket PCs and Smartphones. An interview with MiTAC’s PR manager reveals that they’re planning to introduce four new Smartphones every quarter and two new Pocket PCs each year. PPCSG.com also got a sneak peak at two of new Pocket PCs planned, the Mio 558, which and they also got a sneak peak at two of the with a sneak peak at the Mio 339, which comes with a built-in digital camera with flash that can also record video clips, and the Mio 558 (pictured at right), which has a 400MHz processor, built-in WiFi and Bluetooth, software for making Voice over IP phone calls from a WiFi hotspot, and what looks like a port for plugging in USB peripherals like a keyboard or a mouse.
