Game Design

Games represent many things; entertainment, art, education, and a platform for developing problem-solving skills and building interpersonal connections. The No. 1 school on our list for studying game design is the University of Southern California. USC’s program in Game Design is a collaboration between the engineering school and its School of Cinematic Arts. The degrees on offer provide the opportunity to learn how games are created from the ground up. In 2021, the university conferred 24 bachelor’s degrees and 13 master’s degrees in game design, according to College Navigator.
