Environmental science and climate change are crucial to study to build more resilient societies and mitigate the worst effects of global warming. The top institution on our list, Harvard University, has numerous initiatives around climate change, from engineering solutions to better understanding the crisis as it worsens. This year, it published a report on how it can better teach the climate crisis, and nearly every school at Harvard has programming that addresses the climate crisis.
