The Verge has a photo of what looks like a Porsche Design BlackBerry slapped with a large all-encompassing touchscreen. The device supposedly replaces the ‘Colt‘ as the first BBX-equipped smartphone to come out of Waterloo, Canada.

The London is rumored for a June/Q3 2012 release, so we’re not talking any time soon here. But the device is supposedly packing a TI OMAP dual-core chip at its heart, clipping along at 1.5GHz. It’ll also have 1GB of RAM, 16GB of flash storage and two shooters: one 8MP on the back and one 2MP front-facing. Not bad specs for right now, but for Q3 next year, who knows. Lets hope whatever RIM does with its QNX-based BBX, it handles touchscreen input better than BlackBerry OS. [The Verge, BGR via Gizmodo UK]
