On average, every person loses 192 hours, or eight days of visual sight due to blinking. Andrew Schneider, at student at ITP, didn't like that fact and designed the Blink-Cam to savor every moment. It is a helmet that takes a Polaroid picture of the individual at every blink.

The BlinkCam uses custom-built soft conductive thread and conductive fabric switches that complete the circuit of the hacked shutter-release button. The thread and fabric is affixed to the face with spirit gum and the simultaneous closing of both eyes triggers the camera to take a picture.

Wouldn't it make more sense to take a picture of what you *would* have seen had you not blinked? Turn the camera around, and it'll make more sense. Who wants a bunch of pictures of themselves with their eyes closed?
