Went to the Apple Store in Soho yesterday with our friend Keren, who needed to pick up a new Powerbook, and just by coincidence came home to find an email suggesting this link to a Quicktime video of the incredibly, unbelievably long line there was to get into the opening of the Apple store in Tokyo last month. We’ve never seen anything like it, and what’s even more amazing is how completely orderly the line, which stretches for blocks and blocks and blocks, was. Were they giving away free iPods or something? It’s unreal.
