Looks like someone in Boksburg, South Africa, decided he wanted to max his BMW M3 without getting bothered by the local police. According to best-name-ever inspector Jimmy Maboko, the 35 year old driver installed a “laser jammer” in each of his car’s plates. Somehow, the lasers jammed the speed cameras every time they tried to catch him. On Saturday, however, his evil ways ended in the slammer, after a police patrol stopped him when a camera failed to record his speed. Frankly, I hope he learns a valuable lesson from all this and stops doing stupid illegal things like this. Kids, never use lasers: go directly to the anti-matter death rays. But seriously, is this laser thing possible at all? And what about the anti-matter death rays? Are there any Reed Richards-wannabes in the audience?
