Breathtaking SLR photos show life aboard the ISS

Yes, that’s an apple floating in zero gravity. This is just one of a bunch of arresting images that just went online. Nikon sent a high-res SLR camera aboard the International Space Station with NASA’s astronauts. More pics below.

I love all of the photos from the ISS — Soichi Noguchi’s Twitter stream is must-follow material — but these Nikon pics give the best impression I’ve seen so far of what it must be like to be like to live aboard the station.
