Sprint already bought its ticket for the LTE train, but that doesn't mean they're leaving 4G WiMax partner Clearwire out in the cold. At least, not until 2015, which is when the two companies' freshly inked extension expires. At which point Clearwire will have transitioned to LTE themselves, or settled into retirement village.
