You know it's a job well done when I have to question if this is a person in cosplay or the actual Liara T'Soni from the Mass Effect games made flesh through an act of sorcery - but rest assured, this is Jen of Soylent Cosplay, doing an outstanding job recreating everyone's favourite Asari scientist.

Jen, a professional make up artist, created the outfit for PAX Australia earlier this year - and while her suit is a pretty much perfect ringer for Liara's gear in Mass Effect 3, it's the makeup work itself that is the most amazing part of her cosplay.

Not only is the detailing incredible - the scaled texture over the head tendrils, and right down to Liara's subtle freckles - but most impressive is how seamlessly Jen has blended her makeup and the prosthetics together. It's almost impossible to tell where the prosthetic starts and she begins, creating an out of this world effect that makes her cosplay just look completely real.

You can see a few more pictures of Jen and some fellow Mass Effect Cosplayers in the Imgur gallery below. There's a Mass Effect movie coming up, right? Someone from Legendary get on the phone with Jen and get her on makeup, because this cosplay looks good enough to film in.
