Not content with just two digital cameras with interchangeable lenses, Sony has shown off a camcorder prototype which uses the same lenses—telling of a fall 2010 launch for the model.

Like the EX-3 camcorder which leaked only last week from Sony, today’s camcorder-with-no-name will be able to swap E-mount lenses with the NEX-5 and NEX-3, plus lenses from Minolta and Konica Minolta, and Sony α lenses as well. This follows Panasonic’s AG-AF100 Pro camcorder
which at $6,000 is out of reach for most of us, but is the first camcorder to use Panasonic’s micro four thirds system.

Little else has been said about Sony’s camcorder, except it will have an Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor, the very same used in the NEX-5 and NEX-3, and it will be put into production with a forecasted sale date of fall 2010. [Sony via AV Watch via CrunchGear]
