Rasmus Nyåker is something of a music tech freak. Bored with all his synthesizers, and desiring a music machine with pressure-sensitive ribbon controls, he just up and built his own.

Create Digital Music says that Nyåker is used sheet of force sensing resistors as his main touch component, which he cut down to size. Then built a custom face for the top of the synth, which aligns to each of his 10 fingers. He then picked out the rest of his components, such as the MIDI decoder, and got to work. But this thing is better seen in action so check out the vid and enjoy. [Create Digital Music]
