The Japanese love their electronic dictionaries. Who wouldn’t? So it’s no surprise that we’re seeing a new series of these gadgets called the XD series, with 14 different models in all. This can then be split into two separate groups, the XD-ST series—which have a 5″ display (480×320), backlight, USB earphone terminal, 20MB of memory, SD expansion slot, and weigh 8.8 ounces and the XD-GT series—with a 5.5″ (480×320), backlight, USB earphone terminal, 50MB of memory, SD expansion slot, and weighs 10.2 ounces. They also come in Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Italian, French, and German languages. Note: No English. I guess they assume we don’t care about mangling our language. Thanks a ton, Casio!
