Yamaha has a new CD recorder coming out in June which features a space for a rather large hard drive. They’ve crippled it as far as writing to CDs from the hard drive is concerned (you have to “move” instead of “copy”), but with support for drives up to 400GB, that may not bother some of you at all. Other features on the CDR-HD1500 include a RS-232C interface for inputting titles, optical/coaxial digital inputs and outputs, and a video output for easier navigation using your TV.
