If the fact Marvel is making an Ant-Man sequel wasn’t cool enough, the fact it’s called Ant-Man and the Wasp is simply amazing. Evangeline Lilly’s character Hope Van Dyne was a highlight of the first film and to see her team up with Paul Rudd should be an exciting and unique addition to the MCU.
During the credits of Ant-Man, fans got a glimpse of what the new Wasp costume might look like but that’s just one version. Wasp actually shows up in the movie too, as flashbacks reveal Hope’s mom, Janet, flying alongside Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) in a tease of what the 2018 movie might be.
Since the release of Ant-Man, a bunch of concept art for the original Wasp suit has come online, including a few in the last day because of the big announcement. So we figured, why not celebrate by posting several of the different looks the character went through on her way to 2018 big screen glory?
First up, The Art of Ant-Man book (via /Film) reveals a few different versions of Janet’s costume.
Then, Marvel concept artist and visual development supervisor Andy Park posted several tweets over the past few weeks with different versions of Janet’s suit.
