“Can’t put my feet up, can’t hold my lunch down” — for most singers, this would be a metaphor. For astronaut Chris Hadfield, it’s a literal description of what was happening when he recorded the song on International Space Station.

“Feet up” is the first single off of Hadfield’s upcoming album Space Sessions: Songs From a Tin Can, which, as the title suggests, was recorded while he was on the ISS. The album comes out October 9.
