Control Your Computer Using Only Your Feet

Your feet may replace your mouth as the easiest way to compose an email when your hands are busy doing something else.

The SoftStep Foot Controller was originally designed for musicians who wanted to use a computer in their studio while they played their instruments. Besides musicians, the controller can be used by disabled computer users and data entry workers whose carpal tunnel-riddled hands could use a break.

You'll have to flex those ankles and wiggle those toes if you want to control your computer with your feet, though. The USB input device has 10-pressure and direction sensitive keys and a navigation pad that can be used to open applications, enter text and control your mouse. It sounds hard to use, but those who master the input must really be able to fly.
