"Senior industry sources" are making the bold claim that Dell and Google are going to announce a joint effort to make THE GOOGLE PHONE at the 3GSM conference in February. That sounds unlikely to us, and with Dell's history of putting their name on other people's gadgets (the iPod, for example), if anything it's probably just another manufacturer announcing that they'll make an Android phone. What else could be announced at a phone conference? [MarketingWeek]
I want a new phone with all the features, and it has to be unlocked as i'm moving out out the US soon. I was put off the HTC touch by a post a couple of days ago (along with that class action) and so far the n95 looks good, but the battery life and cost are negatives. I'm steering towared the n810 tablet with a cheaper BT enabled phone. I've thought about an unlocked iPhone, but really want GPS with open mapping similar to the memo mapper, or interface with googlemaps - and has to work world-wide.
I just PREY that a gPhone comes out with android soon!!! It is most likely to meet all my needs/ wants / desires!!
