As alarm clocks go, the award-winning Desktop Moving Composer is one of the cutest we’ve featured in Gizmodo. The sound and lightscape that wakes you in the morning is dependent on where you place each of the seven colored audio transmitting modules (each of which correspond to a specific instrument) on top of the white base. There are 1,159 different son-et-lumieres to choose from, so you’ll probably be bored rigid of it before you find one you like. You can also plug it into your iPod and it will modify the pitch, tempo, reverb and echo of whatever song you play. Cost is $59.95.
